Every change starts as a commit on a versioned branch. Code review and automated checks start immediately, before code reaches a shared environment.
Builds are reproducible: same dependencies, same result. No manual steps on a specific machine.
Unit tests, integration tests and security checks stop the pipeline on regression. Failures surface here, not in production.
The artefact is packaged once, versioned and signed. The same package moves through every environment.
Deployment is declarative (GitOps): environment state lives in the repository. Secrets are managed separately and rollback is a defined procedure.
Metrics, logs and alerts confirm the release behaves as expected and trigger rollback when needed.
